SANI HAMID

Sani Hamid currently holds the position of Director (Economy & Market Strategy) in Financial Alliance. He also heads the Financial Alliance Islamic Wealth Advisory (FAiWA) division within Financial Alliance. FAiWA is presently the only entity in Singapore to offer the full range of Islamic financial planning services – ranging from Syariah compliant investments to Islamic estate planning and zakat planning.

Sani has more than 20 years of working experience in the financial markets, having worked for companies such as S&P MMS where he led a team of analysts covering Emerging Asian economies; BNP Paribas Peregrine as a senior economist; and S&P Ratings as a Director in the sovereign team overseeing the ratings of countries such as Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Singapore.

He has been widely quoted in the media throughout his career and has spoken at numerous international conferences on a range of topics. He holds a Bachelor in Business (Hon) from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Masters in Social Science in Applied Economics from the National University of Singapore. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He also has a Certificate in Islamic Banking & Finance from the International Islamic University of Malaysia.

Sani presently sits on the Investment Committee of the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) and advises several Muslim Welfare Organizations on investment matters. He is actively involved with voluntary work with Muslim associations such as MUIS, Mendaki and others. He is also the advisor to the Debt Advisory Centre @ Association of Muslim Professionals.

NURHAFIHZ NOOR

Nurhafihz Noor is the manager of SCIIMA, the Singapore Chapter of the International Islamic Marketing Association, and sits as a council member at IIMA. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Merit with a specialization in Marketing from the National University of Singapore and a Masters of Science in Marketing from the University College Dublin.

He has a decade of experience in various marketing positions and industries targeting Muslim markets, and has published several peer-reviewed journal papers, books and commentaries on Islamic Marketing. He has also spoken at events including the Global Islamic Marketing Conferences in Turkey and Morocco. In addition, he is a reviewer for the International Journal of Islamic Marketing and Branding, and is the first Chartered Marketer (UK) and Certified Islamic Marketer (IIMA) in Singapore.

Haron Masagoes Hassan is a Wealth Management Senior Executive with Financial Alliance and is responsible for Islamic Wealth Advisory (FAiWA) related matters. He holds a B.A. Degree with Honours in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (Comparative Religion Studies) with minor in Political Science from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

He has completed a certificate in Fundamentals of Financial Services from Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Also he has completed an intensive one year training programme covering Conventional banking, Investment banking, Islamic banking, Insurance/Takaful trained by practitioners and financial experts from Central Bank of Malaysia. Prior to this he possesses more than 2 years of experience in the financial advisory service advising individuals, families and organizations. He has been interviewed by Mediacorp Suria under Program ASET in which he covered the topics like future growth trend in Islamic Finance as well as matters related to Islamic Estate Planning. He has given numerous seminars and diploma courses on a range of topics including Islamic finance, wealth management, Contemporary Islamic Sciences, investments, financial advisory and proper Islamic estate planning.

Emil Fazira is a Senior Analyst at Euromonitor International and takes on a regional role, managing a team of Food & Nutrition analysts in Asia. Hailing from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Bioengineering, she has conducted market research across a range of industries, from commodities and FMCG to services. She has a particularly strong interest in developments in the Packaged Food industry, and enjoys studying how it links with related industries such as Pet Care, Health & Wellness, Nutrition and Packaging among others.

Keon is the co-author of Islamic Finance: Why It Makes Sense (For You) with Daud Vicary Abdullah. He lived over 5 years during his university days in the United States with Muslim roommates. That gave him a deep appreciation of Islam – that it’s peaceful, fair and sensible at its very core.

He holds an MBA from Columbia University (NY) and an LLB from the University of London.

In his work today, Keon is an estate planner. He advises families and businesses on their estate, financial and succession needs. He is looking forward in the near future to sharing more about estate planning with the Muslim community.

Syed Ali co-founded iCommerce and oversees the daily operations and business development at the iCommerce Regional Distribution Centre (iRDC) located in Singapore. The iRDC serves and supports the rest of the distribution chain in South East Asia.

His role ensures Customs Compliance for the network and he is responsible for accurate and smooth supply chain operations for iCommerce.

Prior to starting iCommerce, Ali worked at ZALORA as their Regional Director of Operations and Supply Chain. He had the opportunity to work and setup operations in various countries such as China and Indonesia. Additionally, he has 11 years of experience working as a shipper and at service providers including Fujitsu, YCH, Expeditors and SATS Cargo before entering the e-commerce industry in 2013 with Reebonz.

Rayan Daniyal is widely referred to as the BrandDoctor and is regarded as a man of many talents. He has more than 22 years of experience as a branding and public relations practice leader. He is also a performance coach, motivational speaker, author, publisher, broadcast veteran and community activist. Best known as Singapore Malay TV strongman, Rayan launched and spearheaded both free-to-air and cable stations as Vice-President for MediaCorp and Channel Consultant for StarHub.

In the communication field, Rayan gained his experience from his time with global industry leaders such as Burson-Marsteller and Ogilvy & Mather. He was also the Director for Strategy and Client Services in Dentsu Singapore, part of the world’s largest advertising agency. He has provided counsel for over 50 international brands and steered his own agency TAG to top 10 of local PR firms ranking in 2003-2004. He has chaired regional professional conferences and lectured on special interest subjects such as Media Law and Public Relations for foreign universities and professional institutes. He now spends susbtantial amount of his time as a speaker and trainer on Personal & Business Branding, Public Speaking, Body Language and Customer Service Audit & Training.

On giving back to the society, Rayan has served in key leadership positions in over a dozen local and regional NGOs for the last 25 years notably as Vice-President of both Johor-Singapore Community Care Association (JSCA) and elected Board Member of National Youth Council and Yayasan Mendaki. Rayan also founded and presided over 2 other organisaions, the Singapore Malay Artistes Association and Supernatural Investigation and Research Society. He served in several MDA committees and was a member of the Business Times CEO Club.

He has a Master’s degree in Mass Communication where he came top in cohort and a Law degree with Honours. In 2014, he released his own motivational book titled ‘A THOUSAND PEARLS’ and presented a paper at the invitaton of Malaysian Foreign Ministry on the Business Community Response to ASEAN Economic Community. In 2015 he co-authored a book documenting the selected experiences from the Singapore General Elections 2015 titled ‘From the Frontlines’.

In 2016, he co-founded the CEO Superior Network and PeerPage, a pro business and career mobility social media trechplatform where he is the Executive Director.
